Sarah believes that massage therapy is an essential part of any treatment plan designed to decrease pain and discomfort. In each session, she listens carefully to the client as well as the body to attend to specific areas of tension.
She has years of experience working with chiropractic physicians and is certified in Neuromuscular Therapy (American Version). As a result, her understanding of anatomy and pain patterns is exceptional.
She is also a Certified Pregnancy Massage Therapist through Kate Jordan's 'Bodywork for the Childbearing Year'.
Sarah received her training at the Muscular Therapy Institute in Watertown, MA, now part of the Cortiva Institute. She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She also holds a BA in Music from Smith College.
Her hobbies include playing the piano & djembe, practicing yoga, meditating, trying a new recipe, reading, exercising outside, and laughing with friends and family.
